Uswa Iqbal

Having moved to the US from Pakistan as a high-schooler and then teaching in rural Taiwan during my gap year, my interest in medicine is driven by identifying, understanding, and crafting community-centered interventions targeting health inequities locally and globally. As a M3 at the University of Michigan Medical School, Iā€™m ecstatic to have a SRS chapter here to challenge and empower medical personnel to think and work broadly! I hope to integrate mentorship, medical education, global health, anthropology, and art in my future career.
