The KUMC Chapter was founded in May 2020. Our chapter is a medical student-led organization that also has the mission of creating and increasing enthusiasm for the surgical field, by promoting and showcasing different surgical professionals who utilize social determinants of health as a way to educate, mentor, and provide holistic patient care.
